Annual campaign, strategic integration of digital and physical media: Limited edition aluminum bottles, artists product collections, monthly gallery NYC. One off Las Vegas, SLATE / MAGIC.
This paved way for experimental use of Social Media in real time at events.
Using the API from Twitter, Flickr, and Google and Twitter’s image attachment services (twitpic, yfrog, etc) to map bottles from Pepsi as unique pins.
Anyone watching GLAfind.com during an opening or closing was privy to a cascade of live influencer event coverage at the speed mobile data.
This has become a commonplace expectation of todays social media tools and visualizations.
The GLA program continues to this day.
